Originally from Bainbridge in Southwest Georgia, Mr. Davis was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1991. He is a 1988 Graduate of West Georgia College in Carrolton, Georgia and a 1991 Graduate of the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University, located in Birmingham, Alabama. While at Cumberland, he actively participated in the mock trial and clinical programs and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and the 1991 ATLA National Mock Trial Team. Following Law School he practiced with Taylor and Harp in Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Davis joined the firm in 1994 and litigates and tries many of the firms serious cases. In 1997 he successfully argued the case of Hinton v. Interstate Guaranty Insurance Company, 267 Ga. 516, 480 S.E.2d 842 (1997), before the Georgia Supreme Court, which extended uninsured motorist protection to car collisions involving uninsured motor vehicles such as farm tractors and off road vehicles that are being used upon public roads.
In August of 2013, Mr. Davis co-chaired the case of Shanta Greene vs. The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah, in the State Court of Chatham County, resulting in a twelve million dollar verdict, which is currently the record personal injury verdict in Chatham County. Mr. Davis has a special interest in tractor-trailer collisions and third party work place injury claims. He also has experience in cases involving brain and spinal injuries and amputations, as well as injury cases against cities, counties, states, and amusement parks.
In addition to being admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Davis is admitted to practice before The Supreme Court of Georgia, The Georgia Court of Appeals, The United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, The United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
On May 27, 2020 Mr. Davis retired from the United States Army Reserve after serving over 20 years as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
