I can not believe how blessed I am. The opportunity to help people. The opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
The opportunity to serve people in Savannah who have had tragic events happen and have no one else to turn to.
Often times the results we achieve for our clients determine if our client (can be a child or a teen or adult) ends up with the help they need with medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, lost income, and other harms and losses… or if they end up living under a bridge and pushing a shopping cart.
Yesterday I was arranging funding for private school K-12 and tutoring for a infant child who received a fractured skull and will now also have funds to get an education, arrive at age 18 with the medical health and education to pursue college and life. And now the resources to go to college after high school and get a head start on life. That is profound to have such an effect on a child’s future.
Today I was hired on a case of teenager who received a moderate brain injury due to a reckless 16 year old driver who was speeding.
This afternoon at the hospital I meet with a young pregnant mother who was severely injured in a head on collision by a defendant who ran a red light.
What an honor to be able to make a difference in the quality of someone’s life.
Yes I am blessed.
